Dark Ocean's 'Advanced Versatile Acrylics' allow the diameter, length and profile of the acrylic pressure hull to be adjusted independently. Unlike traditional acrylic hulled submersibles, which are restricted to simple spheres and cylinders, we can tailor the the geometry around the spaces, and the experiences.
With infinite possibilities, from hatch placement to passenger ergonomics, Dark Ocean's 'Advanced Versatile Acrylics' is the first true revolution in acrylic submersible design in almost half a century.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Dark Ocean designed submersibles hold records for the deepest manned submersible dive in history, deepest dives into each of the world's five oceans and the deepest ever salvage operation. They have explored Titanic, her sister ship, Britannic, and have dived on the world's deepest known shipwreck, the USS Johnston.
Our submersibles have been used to broadcast the first live subsea news event, were the first to film a giant squid and returned Sir David Attenborough to the Great Barrier Reef, aged 89.
